Speaker Presentation:
Reverend Soulliere, Elgin Street Mission

Sponsors and management of the Elgin Street Mission.
January 21, 2010
This week’s presentation was about the Four For All project “The Twelve Days of Christmas”. Ten of the 12 sponsoring companies/organizations came out to our meeting to hear Reverend Soulliere speak about the Elgin Street Mission.
Reverend Soulliere spoke to the club and the many guests and expressed his gratitude for this project and what the community of Sudbury and folks like the Rotarians have done for the Mission. He was joined by his wife Fran Soulliere, Kitchen Manager and Rose Gale, Mission Administrator. Reverend Soulliere was presented with an eagle for his work with the Mission.Jeff created a slide show with all of the pictures taken of the volunteers and played it for all to enjoy. A standing ovation followed. A total of $6,050.00 was raised through this project and 85 volunteers served 12 dinners between December 1st and the 23rd.
The sponsors included: KPMG, Sudbury Credit Union, Northridge Savings and Credit Union, Sun Life, Sudbury Vision Centre, Benefit Partners, Lopes Mechanical, First Nickel Mine, Mauro Zuliani-ReMax Sudbury, Cambrian College and College Boreal.
The team (The Four Elves) are very pleased with their project and expressed their gratitude to President Rob Dinan for the concept of Four For All projects. It is the project that keeps on giving as it is responsible for initiating additional fund raising to help the Mission with another cause…a new floor! But that is another Four For All story for another day!
