After reviewing with the executive and the Northbury, we do have the opportunity to return to in person meetings effective Aug 26th.
There will be tables limited in size (4), masking required if you are not in your seat and an RSVP 24 hours prior to the meeting (No RSVP/No Breakfast).
It will be a return to buffet style eating.

We will be keeping the ZOOM option for in person meetings for those that may not feel comfortable to a return to in person dining.
At our last meeting, Joanne Palkovits, CEO and President of St. Joseph's Health Centre, provided an overview of the organization and how it operates St. Joseph's Villa, a 128 bed long-term care home, St. Joseph's Continuing Care Centre a 64 bed complex continuing care hospital and Villa St. Gabriel Villa a 128 bed long-term care home located in Chelmsford.
Joanne also provided an overview of how COVID -19 has impacted residents, their families and employees having been the first long term care facility with an outbreak and death in the community.
We are thrilled to have as one of our keynote speakers; Carolyn Jones who joins us from Anchorage, Alaska. Carolyn has been inducted into the Alaska Women’s Hall of Fame and honored at the White House for her distinguished 25-year leadership role in Rotary International, from the president of her club to the first woman in the world to be appointed as a trustee to the The Rotary Foundation. She has also been recognized for her lasting humanitarian contribution as a Rotary volunteer with children in eastern Russian orphanages.

At 8:30 a.m. on 14 August 2021, a magnitude 7.2 earthquake struck Haiti. The earthquake struck near Petit-Trou-de-Nippes, approximately 150 kilometres west of the capital city, Port-au-Prince leaving more than 300 dead.
